Who can participate in diving activities?
Any one can participate in diving activities as long as their medical condition allows it and they are above the required minimum age, which is 10.

I really want to SCUBA dive, but I am scared of Sharks.
Sharks are mostly freightened of the bubbles scuba divers exhale when diving and don't really hang around. You are lucky if you do spot a shark.

How long does it take to qualify for your first scuba qualification?
It normally takes about 5 half days. Days 1,2 and 3 consist of theory and video lessons as well as dry work and pool training. Days 3 and 4 are your open water qualifying dives.

My ears pain when I go underwater. Will I be able to dive?
Yes. Equalising while your are decending is a skill you will learn on your very first scuba diving course. By equalising often and early, you'll prevent ear ache and be able to enjoy your dive.

I am in an early pregnancy, can I dive?
Yes you can. But its recommended that you visit your doctor and get advice from him.

Are there any Sting Rays around that are dangerous?
Sting Rays are very calm creatures and will probably get out of your way faster than you would imagine. Not all Sting Rays are poisonous or dangerous. As with any animal it will defend itself if provoked or trapped.

What happens if my oxygen is used up?

First of all most recreational diving is done on compressed air NOT oxygen.Its highly unlikely that you would use all your air on your first dive because they are planned out beforehand and controlled by a qualified Instructor. You will also learn methods to share air if needed.
